The second month of autumn in Uzbekistan will begin with rain and cool weather, followed by a warming trend. Throughout the month, the weather will fluctuate: warm periods will alternate with waves of cold air.

On October 1, the influence of moist and relatively cool air will persist in the central and eastern regions. Rain is expected in some places, with the heaviest precipitation in foothill and mountainous areas. In high mountains, rain may turn to snow.

From October 2 to 4, no precipitation is expected across most of the country, and temperatures will begin to rise. However, on October 4, a new flow of cool and moist air will start entering the northwest of Uzbekistan, and by October 5-7, the cold snap will gradually spread across the entire country.

According to the forecast, such temperature fluctuations will continue until the end of the month. During warm periods, nighttime temperatures will reach 10-13 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures will be 25-28 degrees. During cold intrusions, nighttime temperatures may drop to 3-8 degrees, while daytime temperatures will be 15-20 degrees. In the northern part of the country, the cold will be more intense: nighttime temperatures may drop to 0-2 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures will be around 10-15 degrees above zero.

On average, air temperatures in October are expected to be near the climatic norm, and in some places may be above it. Precipitation will also be unevenly distributed. In the north, less precipitation than usual is expected, while in central and southeastern regions, it will be approximately within the climatic norm. At the same time, in some districts of Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, and Surkhandarya regions, as well as in the Fergana Valley regions, precipitation may exceed the climatic norm.
