According to Uzbekistan's Hydrometeorological Service (Uzhydromet), expected rainfall from September 30 to October 2 could trigger mudflows and floods in a number of foothill and mountain districts across the country. The agency issued an official warning, urging residents and visitors to exercise caution.

In the Kashkadarya region, the districts of Yakkabag, Dekhkanabad, Chirakchi, Kitab, Shahrisabz, Kamashi, and Guzar are at risk. In the Surkhandarya region, the danger zone includes Saryasiya, Uzun, Altynsay, Denau, Baysun, Sherabad, Shurchi, Kumkurgan, and Muzrabat districts. In the Samarkand region, the districts of Urgut, Samarkand, Bulungur, Nurabad, Koshrabat, Kattakurgan, Payaryk, Jambay, and Ishtikhan are on alert.

The Navoi region's Khatyrchi, Navbakhor, Nurata, Kanimekh, and Karmana districts are also at risk. In the Jizzakh region, the districts of Zaamin, Bakhmal, Gallyaaral, Sharaf-Rashidov, Farish, and Yangiabad are included. In the Tashkent region, the warning covers Akhangaran, Bostanlyk, Parkent, Pskent, Urtachirchik, and Yukorichirchik districts, as well as the cities of Angren and Almalyk.

In the Namangan region, the districts of Pap, Kasansay, Chartak, Chust, Namangan, and Yangikurgan are at risk. In the Fergana region, the Sokh, Shakhimardan, Fergana, and Besharyk districts are on the list. In the Andijan region, the warning applies to Andijan, Asaka, Jalalkuduk, Kurgan-Tepa, Pakhtaabad, Izbaskan, Khojaabad, and Marhamat districts, as well as the city of Khanabad.

In some areas, rainwater accumulation may also lead to localized flooding. Citizens living in foothill and mountain areas, vacationers, and drivers heading to mountainous regions have been urged to take precautionary measures.
