In Tashkent's Shaykhantahur district, a man was detained during a special operation for illegally selling potent pharmaceutical drugs. The deal was intercepted at the moment of handing over the goods to the buyer.

Officers of the district department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office received information about the impending transaction and established that the buyer was to receive 50 units of the drug "Omnadren-250". The buyer was supposed to pay $800 for the medicine.

At the moment of sale, the seller was detained, and the drugs were registered as material evidence. A criminal case has been initiated under the article providing for liability for illegal trafficking of potent substances. An investigation is underway.

Earlier, a supply of 11,000 psychotropic tablets was intercepted in the Fergana Valley.
