An online controversy surfaced after Uzbek social media blogger "komil_vlogs" claimed he was refused boarding on a Centrum Air flight simply for requesting that the flight attendant communicate with him in the Uzbek language. The video rapidly circulated across social media platforms, sparking heated debate among netizens.

Centrum Air issued an official clarification regarding the occurrence, which took place on October 5 during passenger boarding for a scheduled flight from Samara to Tashkent. According to the carrier, the traveler displayed unruly and aggressive behavior toward the cabin crew, issuing crude demands, hurling insults at a flight attendant, and disrupting the operational boarding procedure.

Because such conduct presented a tangible hazard to overall flight safety and onboard discipline, the aircraft's captain exercised standard authority by barring the passenger from taking the flight. The airline stated that it considers the pilot's decision fully justified, adding that all evidence has been formally recorded and that the company is currently evaluating legal action through law enforcement agencies.

Addressing the language controversy directly, Centrum Air stressed that all of its cabin crew members are proficient in Uzbek, Russian, and English, consistently interacting with travelers in whichever language is most comfortable and accessible for them.
