A severe case of domestic abuse and violence against a minor has been uncovered in the Olmazor district of Tashkent, sparking serious concerns among public welfare organizations. The Tashkent City Department of the National Agency for Social Protection officially reported the incident, confirming that relevant government agencies have intervened.
According to preliminary information, on August 28, 2025, a minor identified as N.M. entered into an uncertified religious marriage with an individual named Ch.B. and began living with him from that date onward. Investigators claim that Ch.B. systematically subjected the underage girl to physical violence, sexually assaulted her, and inflicted various bodily injuries.
The Olmazor District Internal Affairs Department has initiated pre-investigation checks regarding the incident. Law enforcement officials are currently gathering evidence and conducting necessary forensic evaluations to establish all the circumstances surrounding the alleged crime.
On October 5, representatives from the local 'Inson' Social Services Center, alongside district police officers, held a formal meeting with the victimized minor and her aunt, N.N. Authorities are currently taking comprehensive measures to protect the girl's legal rights and interests, ensure her personal safety, and stabilize her distressed psychological condition.
To prevent future occurrences of pressure, threats, and physical violence, an official protection order has been issued to safeguard the victim. Experts note that such cases highlight ongoing societal challenges regarding child protection and the enforcement of statutory marriage laws.
