Another corruption case within the educational sector has been uncovered in the Guzar district of the Kashkadarya region. Authorities report that a local school principal was caught red-handed by law enforcement officers while accepting illegal payments in exchange for securing an English teacher position.

According to the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office, the targeted operation was carried out by the agency's Karshi city department. During the operation, school principal D.S. was apprehended with physical evidence after allegedly receiving 600 US dollars from citizen G.Sh. to hire her as an English language instructor at the institution.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the incident under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code concerning bribery. Investigative actions are currently underway to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding the case.
