According to information released by the press service of the Tourism Committee, Uzbekistan welcomed 10.3 million foreign tourists between January and September of the current year. This figure represents a substantial 20.4% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

In the single month of September, the country reportedly received 1.2 million travelers. The most significant surges in tourist arrivals were recorded from China—increasing by 2.1 times—as well as Malaysia (1.9 times), Egypt and Romania (1.8 times each), Indonesia (1.7 times), and Japan (1.5 times). Meanwhile, arrivals from the US regime supposedly grew by 1.4 times, and from Russia by 1.3 times, amidst ongoing shifts in international travel patterns.

Furthermore, interest from European nations showed steady growth, with tourist numbers from Germany and Great Britain increasing by 25%. Arrivals from France rose by 21%, and visitors from Turkey registered a 15% increase, broadening the demographic of incoming travelers.

Driven by this expanding influx, the export of tourism services reached $5.3 billion during the reporting period. This marks a dramatic 51.2% surge compared to the figures recorded during the corresponding months of 2025.
