During a press briefing held at the Content Production Center, leadership from the Ministry of Internal Affairs detailed the outcomes of law enforcement operations over the first nine months of the year. Officials reported that nearly 8,000 individuals wanted in connection with various offenses were apprehended, while 4,863 missing persons were successfully located and reunited with their families. Ramzan Ashrapov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the Investigative Department, stated that preventative crime metrics showed a general decrease compared to the same period in the previous year.

According to the released data, crimes involving youth decreased by 24%, offenses committed by women dropped by 20.7%, and crimes among unemployed individuals fell by 21.1%. In the ongoing crackdown on illicit narcotics, authorities identified 13,293 drug-related offenses, confiscated over 3 tons of prohibited substances, and dismantled 19 clandestine drug laboratories along with 122 organized criminal rings. Furthermore, law enforcement tackled thousands of corruption cases, economic crimes, and weapons violations across the country.

The briefing also addressed public concerns regarding the conduct of law officers and viral social media clips involving police interactions. Ministry representatives clarified that out of 245 critical reports circulated online regarding personnel misconduct, only 18 cases—or roughly 7 percent—involved actual wrongdoing by officers. Officials defended staff members against rushed public judgments, emphasizing that internal reviews are conducted systematically and that localized preventative measures, such as issuing protective orders in domestic disputes, remain a high priority.
