A major and tragic traffic accident involving seven vehicles has occurred in the Bulakbashi district of the Andijan region, according to local road safety authorities. The incident took place on October 10 at approximately 09:40 on Konchilar Street in the Neftchilar neighborhood. According to preliminary reports, a Howo dump truck loaded with soil, driven by 48-year-old O.A., suffered a sudden brake failure while traveling along the Neftchilar-Kulla route, causing the driver to completely lose control of the heavy vehicle.

The out-of-control truck veered into the oncoming lane and crashed into several moving cars, including a Cobalt, a Nexia, a BYD Song Plus, and a Nexia 2. It also collided with a Nexia 3, a Damas, and a Matiz parked on the right side of the road. Additionally, local shops situated along the roadway sustained significant structural damage from the violent multi-vehicle impact.

The catastrophic crash resulted in the deaths of three individuals at the scene. The driver of the Howo truck and three other people sustained varying degrees of injuries and were promptly hospitalized at the district medical center. The Investigation Department under the Bulakbashi District Internal Affairs Directorate has initiated a criminal case under Part 3, Article 266 of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigative activities are currently underway.

According to regional reports, the central street in the village of Neftchilar connects to a small mountain pass heavily utilized by commercial freight trucks. Local residents have repeatedly appealed to relevant authorities asking to restrict heavy vehicle traffic on this central roadway and to level the uneven slope, but their requests have allegedly been ignored. Over the past two years, at least six people have reportedly died in accidents involving heavy trucks in the exact same area.
