Dangerous weather conditions, including potential mudflows and flash floods, are anticipated in the mountainous and foothill areas of the Tashkent region on October 13–14. The warning was officially announced by Sherzodkhuja Habibullakhuja, Director of Uzhydromet, amid concerns over heavy precipitation.

According to the agency's data, the threat specifically covers the Akhangaran, Bostanlyk, Parkent, Pskent, Urtachirchik, and Yukorichirchik districts, as well as the cities of Angren and Almalyk. Local authorities are closely monitoring the situation as meteorological indicators suggest a high probability of severe downpours.

Reports indicate that certain areas may experience significant accumulation of rainwater, which could potentially lead to localized flooding of residential territories and transport routes. Such hydrological events pose recurring challenges for local infrastructure management.

In light of these risks, residents living in foothill and mountainous zones, holidaymakers, and drivers traveling along mountain roads have been strongly urged to observe strict safety precautions and avoid unnecessary travel through vulnerable areas until the weather stabilizes.
