Over 3,500 military personnel from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey reportedly participated in the inaugural joint exercises titled 'Strength of Unity – 2026', held from September 22 to October 1. The maneuvers marked a notable collaborative effort aimed at testing tactical interoperability across multiple domains.

The drills unfolded across various training grounds in Baku, Nakhchivan, the Karabakh region, and the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. According to official reports, the exercises deployed over 130 unmanned aerial systems, more than 70 armored vehicles, over 90 artillery systems, and upwards of 20 aircraft. A substantial portion of the curriculum focused on drone integration, including countering swarm attacks, conducting aerial reconnaissance, and coordinating strikes with artillery and electronic warfare units.

Furthermore, the operational scenarios supposedly incorporated breaching defensive lines, mine clearance, urban combat operations, and countering cyberattacks combined with disinformation campaigns. The maritime phase in the Caspian featured amphibious landings to liberate a hijacked vessel and neutralize a simulated terrorist base, all under the watchful eye of military observers from several regional states.
