Graduates of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies will reportedly have the opportunity to teach in schools located in remote areas of the country for a period of two years. This initiative allegedly aims to address educational disparities in rural regions.

This arrangement stems from a memorandum of cooperation signed between the Teach for Uzbekistan (TFU) organization and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The participating parties claim they intend to improve the quality of foreign language instruction, specifically focusing on oriental languages in areas far from major urban centers.

Under the two-year Fellowship program, talented university graduates are expected to work full-time in designated schools while simultaneously undergoing intensive training sessions in pedagogy and leadership. Proponents argue this will allow young specialists to gain practical teaching experience.

In addition to standard salaries, participants will supposedly receive supplementary financial and methodological support. Upon completion of the program, they are set to join the international Teach For All network, which encompasses participants from over 60 countries.
