Uzbekistan has officially revised its regulations concerning outdoor advertising, introducing measures aimed at easing administrative burdens for local entrepreneurs. According to a newly adopted government resolution announced by the Competition Development Committee, information regarding a company's name and business activity displayed on a building's facade will no longer be classified as advertising, thereby eliminating the need to obtain a dedicated advertising space permit.

Furthermore, the updated framework introduces a streamlined procedure for legal entities wishing to display trademarks and product information on their vehicles. Notifications can now be submitted through the Unified Portal of Interactive State Services, automatically generating the required documentation free of charge, with options for online revocation. *

Clear timeframes have also been established for short-term advertising displays. Materials on construction sites may remain until the completion of works, while displays dedicated to holidays and public events are permitted for up to 30 days. Decisions regarding the implementation of urban design codes will henceforth require public discussion and will only take effect three months following their official publication.

The authorities have likewise instituted a strict protocol for the forced dismantling of unauthorized structures. Owners must receive written notification two days prior to the procedure, with corresponding notices published online. Dismantling operations are restricted strictly to weekdays between 09:00 and 18:00, accompanied by a formal protocol detailing the time, reasons, photographs, and storage location of the removed items.
