A severe case of alleged animal cruelty has been reported in the historic city of Samarkand, sparking widespread public condemnation. According to eyewitnesses, a local man tied a dog to his scooter with a rope and dragged the suffering animal along the asphalt road. Shockingly, two young children were reportedly accompanying the driver during the ordeal.

The horrific act was only halted after foreign tourists intervened, expressing profound outrage and beginning to record the incident on their video cameras. Following the ordeal, the dog collapsed onto the ground, unable to stand on its paws, with preliminary observations suggesting severe injuries to its limbs.

The information was brought to light through human rights activist and public figure Elena Babenko, who was urged to publicize the case. While witnesses intend to file a formal complaint with the law enforcement agencies, they reportedly fear that the investigation might be neglected unless sustained public pressure is applied.

Local law enforcement authorities in Samarkand are now expected to investigate the circumstances and provide a legal assessment of the incident. Official updates regarding the current medical condition of the dog remain unavailable at this time.
