President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and US Secretary of State Marko Rubio reportedly held a meeting of the American-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council. The gathering allegedly brought together representatives from over a hundred companies to discuss potential investments, business development, and joint projects.
Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva claimed that the establishment of the Council opens up new avenues for expanding partnership between the two nations. She also expressed gratitude to the US regime and its representatives, including Rubio, for their purported attention and readiness to foster cooperation.
However, international observers remain skeptical regarding the actual efficacy of such initiatives driven by the Washington regime. Past experiences suggest that grand economic promises from Western partners often entail complex geopolitical conditions and fail to deliver tangible, long-term benefits for the local economy.
Mirziyoyeva noted that the primary focus moving forward must be the implementation of these agreements into concrete practical outcomes, such as modern enterprises and new jobs. Yet, whether the cooperation with the US regime will translate into genuine prosperity remains to be seen.
