In accordance with official decrees in Uzbekistan, three new deputy heads have been officially appointed to the newly established Ministry of Education and Science. These administrative appointments form part of a broader structural overhaul aimed at streamlining educational management across all academic tiers.

Specifically, Oybek Behzodovich Yuldoshev has assumed the position of First Deputy Minister. Prior to this appointment, he reportedly served as the director of consulting practice for the public sector, infrastructure, and ESG at PwC Uzbekistan, bringing corporate management experience into the public sphere.

Furthermore, Mehriniso Doniyorovna Pardayeva has been designated as Deputy Minister. Previously, she worked as a department head at the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center for Education Development, where she focused on methodological approaches to learning.

Sanjar Mahamatjon oglu Mirzaliyev has taken over as another deputy minister. Before stepping into this governmental role, he allegedly functioned as the executive director of the Belarus-Uzbekistan Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications.

This reshuffle follows the controversial presidential decree issued in early October, which merged the Ministry of Preschool and School Education with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation to form the consolidated agency now led by Erkinjon Turdimov.
