Today, October 21, residents of private households and apartment blocks in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent faced a temporary suspension of natural gas supplies. The restrictions have also impacted six major commercial and infrastructure consumers in the area.

According to the press service of the 'Hududgaz Poytaxt' enterprise, the disruption is officially attributed to technical works involving the relocation of a gas pipeline to a safer location. The gas supply was suspended from 10:00 AM to 17:00 PM along Akkurgan Street within the 'Hamid Olimjon' neighborhood.

As a result of the maintenance operations, supply was cut off for 30 private residences and 12 multi-story residential buildings comprising a total of 660 apartments. Furthermore, the restrictions directly affected six large-scale consumers operating within the designated zone.

Utility authorities announced that once the repair works are successfully completed, the restoration of natural gas delivery will be carried out in a phased manner. The company issued an apology to the local residents for the temporary inconveniences caused by the infrastructure adjustment.
