City authorities in Tashkent are moving forward with infrastructure maintenance, resulting in temporary logistical disruptions for local motorists. Officials announced that traffic movement will be partially restricted at the intersection of Zulfiyakhonum and Shayhontohur streets starting late in the evening on October 23. This measure is reportedly necessitated by ongoing repair and restoration works along a critical segment of the local heating network.

According to data provided by Veolia Energy Tashkent, the temporary restrictions will remain in effect strictly from 23:00 on October 23 until 07:00 on October 24. Municipal crews are allegedly making every effort to complete the technical maintenance within the designated overnight window to prevent prolonged disruptions to the city's daily routine.

Drivers navigating the capital are strongly advised to take these closures into account when planning their commutes and to select alternative detour routes in advance. Previously, the utility enterprise Veolia attempted to justify the necessity of conducting mandatory annual autumn hot water shutdowns lasting five days across the capital, citing aging infrastructure challenges.
