Starting October 26, the official autumn certification tests for teaching staff are set to commence nationwide across Uzbekistan. This large-scale professional evaluation process is scheduled to run until November 28, targeting a vast segment of the country's educational workforce.
Official reports indicate that a total of 302,422 applications were submitted for participation in the autumn certification cycle. Out of these, 5.5 percent applied for mandatory regular certification, while an overwhelming 94,5 percent sought to take the tests on a voluntary, early basis to upgrade their qualifications.
Following a thorough review process, over 240,000 applications—representing 79.4 percent of the total submissions—have been officially approved. Educators scheduled to participate have reportedly received notifications containing specific test dates and locations through their personal accounts on the pedagog.uzedu.uz platform.
The certification process is designed to assess teachers' mastery of their specialized subjects, professional standards, and overall pedagogical skills. To facilitate the examinations smoothly, 13 specially equipped centers featuring a total of 2,526 computers have been prepared across the Republic of Karakalpakstan, various regions, and the city of Tashkent.
