During the Tashkent Design Week events, urbanist and Atlas bureau strategist Darya Kovalenko introduced a comprehensive five-part illustrated guide titled the “New Tashkent Atlas.” The publication is designed to serve as a foundational framework for the systematic development and architectural coordination of the newly planned urban area.

According to the presented concepts, establishing a rigid design code prior to the commencement of construction is vital for preventing disjointed architectural decisions and ensuring a unified visual identity. The strategy aims to predetermine functional scenarios and long-term economic sustainability for future city districts.

The newly unveiled atlas comprises specialized sections dedicated to landscaping, architectural regulations, installation protocols, and facility maintenance. Furthermore, the project integrates ecological assessments, addressing local climatic challenges and mitigating the impact of large-scale construction on regional bird migration corridors.
