Kuwait-based Al-Ahleia Switchgear Co. has announced an official recruitment drive inviting qualified specialists from Uzbekistan to fill open positions in electrical engineering, specifically as Testing and Commissioning Engineers. The initiative was publicized through the official channels of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan.
The selection process comes with stringent criteria for applicants. Eligible candidates must be male, under the age of 35, hold a higher education degree in electrical engineering, and demonstrate fluency in English. Furthermore, applicants are required to possess at least eight years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning electrical substations, alongside robust practical knowledge of electrical equipment and protection relays.
A total of 10 vacancies have been allocated under an indefinite employment contract. The working hours are set at 48 hours per week, translating to a minimum of 208 hours per month. The offered monthly salary ranges between $1,150 and $2,400, depending on the candidate's qualifications and assessment results.
However, certain financial burdens remain with the employees, as housing and meal expenses must be covered entirely out of the candidates' own pockets. The selection of applicants will be conducted via online interviews, with the application deadline closing on November 2nd.
