Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, conducted a working visit to inspect the operations of the narcological facility in the Kashkadarya region. The visit aimed to thoroughly evaluate the existing conditions, treatment protocols, and systemic challenges within the local healthcare infrastructure.

According to official statements, starting the modernization efforts from one of the most challenging regions was a deliberate choice to address the core issues directly. Officials emphasized that alongside professional medical care and adequate facilities, genuine empathy and psychological support remain critical factors in helping patients regain confidence and hope for recovery.

Following the inspection, authorities announced plans to develop a specialized, comprehensive program in collaboration with local and international experts. The upcoming initiative is intended to overhaul the sector by integrating prevention, advanced treatment, and rehabilitation into a unified, multidisciplinary system focused on human dignity.
