On Tuesday, March 11, cold and humid air will continue to flow into the country. Precipitation in the form of rain and snow is expected in some areas of the republic, though it is unlikely in the northwestern regions. Daytime air temperatures will range from 0…+3 °C, with the north experiencing −2…−5 °C.
On Wednesday, March 12, precipitation will cease across most of the territory. Overnight temperatures will drop to −1…−3 °C, locally to −5 °C, with daytime highs expected at 0…+5 °C. In northern regions, overnight lows are forecast at −7…−10 °C, with daytime highs of 0…+5 °C. In some areas, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 m/s, with gusts potentially reaching 22–25 m/s in the Fergana Valley provinces.
In foothill and mountainous areas on Tuesday and Wednesday, there remains a risk of mudflows and flash floods, with avalanche danger declared in the mountains, necessitating heightened precautions in these zones.
Frosty conditions will persist into Thursday night, but from that day onward, temperatures will begin to rise. By the end of the work week, daytime air will warm up to +10…+15 °C. Fog is possible overnight and in the morning in some areas.
In Tashkent, light precipitation is possible in the coming night, with no precipitation expected during the day on Wednesday. Overnight temperatures will be −1…−3 °C, with daytime highs of +2…+4 °C. On Thursday and Friday, no precipitation is forecast in the capital. Overnight temperatures will range from 0…−2 °C, gradually increasing during the day to +11…+13 °C. Winds will be northeasterly, from weak to moderate.
