Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Olimjon Umarov has left his position as First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies and assumed the role of Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Prime Minister in the Cabinet of Ministers. This personnel change took effect on March 11.
Umarov's professional activities in recent years have been linked to leadership in the Ministry of Digital Technologies and ensuring the technological development of state systems. In his new role, he will continue working within the government apparatus.
The reshuffle in the Secretariat's leadership was carried out as part of a planned renewal of personnel in the executive branch. This move reflects ongoing rotation within government structures and adaptation to new tasks.
Umarov's new position is expected to be significant for managing internal government affairs, although the impact of this transfer on the digital technology sector remains unclear. This personnel shift may be seen as an indicator of potential reassessment of priorities within the government.
