A significant fire broke out at an auto parts manufacturing plant in Daejeon, South Korea. According to the Yonhap news agency, the blaze started around 13:17 local time, resulting in injuries to at least 50 people, with 35 of them reported to be in critical condition.

Due to the scale of the disaster, South Korea's National Fire Agency issued an order to mobilize forces at the national level. This extreme measure is implemented when regional units' resources are insufficient for firefighting and rescue operations, highlighting the severity of the incident.

Prime Minister Kim Min Sok urgently directed the deployment of all available personnel and equipment to rescue those affected. Special traffic control measures were enforced in Daejeon, and evacuations were organized from adjacent areas. The event poses a critical test for South Korea's industrial safety and emergency management systems.
