A presentation event was held in Warsaw to promote the potential of Uzbekistan's labor resources and expand cooperation with Polish companies. Representatives from over 20 leading recruitment firms and employers in Poland, such as Grupa Progres, Gremi Personal, and Personnel International, participated in the meeting.
During negotiations, Polish employers outlined specific needs for attracting labor from Uzbekistan. In particular, they stated a requirement for 2,000 specialists in logistics, 800 in the service sector, 600 in industry, and 200 in construction. This indicates potential employment opportunities for approximately 3,600 Uzbek citizens.
Representatives of Polish companies who attended the event assessed Uzbekistan as a reliable and promising partner. They expressed readiness to recruit workers from Uzbekistan and interest in further strengthening mutual cooperation in this area.
Representatives from the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers of Poland emphasized the importance of negotiations to establish an effective migration policy between the two countries. It was noted that Poland's economy has a constant need for labor, and Uzbekistan could become one of the reliable partners in this matter.
The meeting highlighted the high demand for workers from Central Asia, especially Uzbekistan. Some companies expressed the view that further simplification of labor migration processes through eased visa procedures is crucial.
As a result of the talks, an agreement was reached to hold follow-up meetings in a B2B format with the participation of Uzbekistan's Migration Agency and accredited employment organizations. This is seen as an important step in establishing safe, legal, and orderly labor activities for citizens in Poland.
