Warm weather has settled in Uzbekistan, with temperatures expected to reach up to 30 degrees Celsius in some regions this week. However, meteorologists have warned of possible short-term rains and thunderstorms, as well as a risk of mudflows and floods in mountainous areas.

According to the Uzbekistan Hydrometeorological Service, short-term rains with thunderstorms will occur on March 31 and April 1 in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoi regions, as well as in foothills and mountains. Daytime temperatures will rise to 27-30 degrees Celsius.

Precipitation is expected on April 2 in the northwest, desert zones, and southern regions, and on April 3 in most regions. On these days, temperatures will slightly decrease to 24-27 degrees Celsius, and in the south to 20-22 degrees Celsius.

On Monday, short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible in the northwest and some areas of the center and south. No precipitation is expected in the Fergana Valley. Wind speeds will range from 7–12 meters per second, with gusts up to 14 meters per second and dust storms possible in the south and desert zones.

In Tashkent, Monday will be without precipitation, with only a light rain and thunderstorm possible by evening. On March 31, April 1, and 2, the capital will be dry, with daytime temperatures rising to 27-29 degrees Celsius. On April 3, light rain is likely, with temperatures showing 24-27 degrees Celsius.
