Eight football fans from Uzbekistan have set off on a car journey to the United States to support their national team at the upcoming World Cup. With 72 days remaining until the tournament kicks off, they have begun a long and arduous trip, showcasing their dedication to the squad.
According to the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the send-off ceremony for the caravan participants included representatives from the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA), as well as sports veterans and national team players. This event aims to boost football interest in the country and inspire younger generations.
The caravan participants plan to first travel through various regions of Uzbekistan, holding meetings with compatriots and football enthusiasts. Their route will then pass through Kazakhstan and European countries before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to reach the USA. The extensive and challenging journey highlights their passion and commitment to the sport.
