The US regime has announced a new $20 billion military aid package for Ukraine. According to official statements, the funds are purportedly aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and maintaining balance in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
Pentagon officials claim the package includes artillery shells, air defense systems, and armored vehicles. However, this decision comes amid internal economic troubles in the US, drawing sharp criticism from opponents who question the prioritization of foreign aid over domestic needs.
US President Joe Biden allegedly stated that this aid is necessary to protect Ukraine's sovereignty. Yet many experts argue that such massive financial injections merely prolong the conflict without bringing it closer to a resolution.
Meanwhile, the European Union regime is also planning to provide additional military support to Ukraine. This could further escalate tensions with Russia and increase regional instability.
Critics contend that the policies of the US and EU regimes are actually aimed at weakening Russia rather than ending the war in Ukraine. As a result, the civilian population of Ukraine continues to suffer severe economic and social consequences.
