US President Donald Trump left China on Friday after a two-day summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. While Washington touted trade wins, Beijing warned against overstepping on Taiwan and criticized the US-Israel war on Iran.

The two sides released statements detailing discussions, but they overlap only in limited areas. The White House readouts addressed issues not mentioned by China's Foreign Ministry, and vice versa.

Trump claimed China agreed to buy 200 Boeing jets, but Beijing did not confirm the deal, and Boeing shares fell over 4%. Other trade agreements remain unannounced.

The White House highlighted cooperation on fentanyl, but Chinese statements omitted the issue. On Iran, the US said both sides agreed Iran must never have nuclear weapons, while China only said the conflict should never have started.

China stressed the Taiwan question as the most important issue, warning of potential conflict if mishandled. The White House statements did not mention Taiwan, and Trump ignored a reporter's question on the topic.

Both sides claimed to have reached new common understandings, but concrete agreements and future plans remain vague.
