Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in an interview with RT Arabic, stated that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's remarks on supporting Ukraine indicate that what was called 'Biden's war' has now become 'Trump's war.' The transcript was published on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website.

Lavrov emphasized that Russia is ready for dialogue if the U.S. is also willing. He dismissed Europe as a 'cut-off piece' under its current elites, saying they are incapable of serious negotiations. 'They had plenty of chances, and they blew them all,' he said.

The minister noted that after Trump's return to the White House, dialogue between Moscow and Washington resumed, including phone calls between leaders, a ministerial meeting in Riyadh, and a summit in Alaska.

Lavrov pointed out a contradiction: Trump publicly called the Ukraine conflict 'Biden's war,' but Rubio's congressional testimony about the U.S. role as a supporter, not a mediator, proves otherwise. 'Moreover, the Pentagon has a budget for Ukraine support approved through 2029, almost 3.5 years ahead,' Lavrov added.

According to Lavrov, this demonstrates that 'Biden's war' has effectively become 'Trump's war,' despite the U.S. president's rhetoric.
