In the early hours of June 11, a tragic traffic accident occurred in Istanbul, claiming the lives of 31-year-old Uzbek national Aziza Xatamova, her husband Sadik Gunden, and their two-month-old baby, Temur Xon.
According to the Hürriyet newspaper, the car driven by Sadik Gunden collided with the rear of a truck traveling in the same direction as they were returning from Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The impact caused the car to slide under the truck, trapping the victims inside.
The family resided in Istanbul's Sancaktepe district and had been married for four years. They also had a three-year-old son named Said Gunden, whom they had left at home due to the early hour.
Reports indicate that baby Temur Xon had recently been circumcised, and a celebration was planned for the coming days. An investigation into the accident is underway.
