Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Belarus must cease fuel supplies to the Russian army, otherwise Ukraine will first take public measures and then other actions. He said this during a telethon interview, excerpts of which were published on his Telegram channel on Sunday.
Earlier, on June 19, at a press conference with Honduran President Nasri Asfura in Kyiv, Zelensky gave Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko a week to remove retransmitters used to guide Russian drone strikes on Ukrainian cities. The deadline expires on June 26.
Zelensky also called Belarus one of the key suppliers of petroleum products to the Russian army and expressed confidence that Lukashenko has the ability to stop it, as he allegedly controls the situation.
Prior to this, Lukashenko gave an interview to Al-Arabiya TV, in which he apologized to Zelensky for harsh words and assured that Minsk would not enter the war.
