️ Portugal national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo has publicly released a detailed statement addressing the ongoing friction within the squad and his controversial departure. According to the player, head coach Jorge Jesus purportedly breached a prior agreement by failing to read out a pre-approved eight-point statement during an official press conference to clear the air.

️ The 41-year-old veteran reportedly left the national team camp after being left on the bench during the UEFA Nations League match against Norway. Ronaldo claims he was unexpectedly asked by the coaching staff to prepare for a 30-minute appearance, which disrupted his scheduled physical recovery plan, though he agreed to the request regardless.

️ Despite warming up after halftime, the player was never subbed in, leading to what he describes as a broken promise by the head coach. While Ronaldo acknowledged his mistake in walking past the fans without greeting them after the final whistle, he expressed frustration that a subsequent closed-door agreement regarding transparency from the coaching staff was allegedly ignored.
