Businessman Umar Dzhabrailov has died in Moscow. Law enforcement agencies report that the preliminary version is suicide.

A source from the RIA Novosti agency clarified that Dzhabrailov was hospitalized from an apartment in the city center, where he later died. No suicide note was found.

According to media reports, the entrepreneur's bank accounts were previously blocked due to a debt of 40,000 rubles. In his last message on a Telegram channel, he expressed concern over the conflict in the Middle East: "I am extremely worried that our tourists are there, and I wish everyone that the trouble passes and that you return home quickly."

Umar Dzhabrailov was born in Grozny on June 28, 1958. In 1997, he became a top manager of the Plaza group of companies, which managed the Okhotny Ryad and Smolensky Passage shopping centers. From 2004 to 2009, Dzhabrailov served as a senator from Chechnya and held the position of deputy chairman of the Federation Council's Committee on International Affairs.
