A severe natural disaster struck the Turkish resort city of Antalya, resulting in fatalities among construction workers. In the Kepez district, a sudden tornado ripped through a construction site, completely obliterating two residential containers housing personnel.

According to reports from Anadolu Agency, the vortex formed in the Fevzi Çakmak neighborhood despite prior meteorological warnings regarding heavy rainfall. The violent wind shear lifted and hurled the temporary structures, trapping the workers inside. *

Authorities claim that two victims died at the scene, while two others succumbed to their injuries following hospitalization. The condition of the sole surviving worker is reportedly stable, though conflicting local reports suggest the death toll might allegedly be higher.

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin stated that a crane on the same site supposedly overturned as well, though it caused no additional injuries. The official attempted to attribute the casualties entirely to the destruction of the containers, exposing ongoing concerns regarding workplace safety regulations in the region.
