The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel has issued an emergency appeal to its compatriots in response to the escalating situation in the region. The diplomatic mission highlighted an increase in casualties from rocket fragments within the country and urged citizens to exercise maximum vigilance and strictly adhere to safety measures.

The official statement emphasized the necessity of strictly following instructions from the Israeli Home Front Command. Upon hearing an air raid siren or alarm signal, citizens are advised to immediately proceed to a protected shelter and remain there until official clearance is given by competent authorities. It is also recommended to continuously monitor emergency alerts and official updates.

As of March 9, no reports of injuries or other casualties among Uzbek citizens have been received by the embassy. The diplomatic mission expressed gratitude to compatriots for adhering to safety rules and called for continued caution in the unstable conditions. Embassy staff are maintaining a close watch on the situation to provide prompt assistance if needed.

It is recalled that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has taken steps to enhance communication channels with compatriots in the tense region. In light of the escalating situation in the Middle East, the ministry launched a specialized Telegram bot. This digital platform is designed to ensure round-the-clock and efficient handling of appeals from citizens facing difficult circumstances.
