On February 25, a gas explosion occurred in a multi-story building in Kokand, Fergana Region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported the incident.

The explosion resulted in a fire. The fire was reported to the regional MES department at 14:47. Rescue units arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze.

According to preliminary information from the ministry, there have been no reports of casualties. Currently, MES rescuers are conducting work to address the aftermath of the incident.
