President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a new Ethno-Village in Termez during his trip to the Surkhandarya region. The project serves as a cultural and recreational space, blending modern infrastructure with displays of the region's history, traditional crafts, and art.

The construction cost of the complex was $10 million. Buildings in an authentic historical style have been erected on a 6-hectare site. The infrastructure includes a family guesthouse, a specialized workshop for making dombras, an exhibition of bakhshi art, a national cuisine restaurant, a children's playground, and musical fountains.

The Ethno-Village is designed to serve 180,000 tourists annually, providing permanent employment for 250 people. A key feature is interactivity: visitors can not only purchase finished crafts but also personally observe their production process in the workshops.

The head of state inspected the conditions at the tourism center, held discussions with master craftsmen, and watched an artistic program prepared for the first visitors. The president emphasized the importance of such facilities for preserving cultural heritage and developing the tourism potential of the country's southern region.
