President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited an ethnographic village established in Termez. The project was implemented as a cultural and recreational space with modern infrastructure to showcase the history, traditional crafts, and art of the Surkhandarya region.
The complex was built with investments totaling $10 million. On a six-hectare area, buildings in historical style, a family guest house, a dombra workshop, an exhibition of bakhshi art, a national cuisine restaurant, a children's playground, and musical fountains have been constructed.
The village can accommodate 180,000 tourists annually and will create permanent jobs for 250 people. Visitors can not only purchase crafts but also observe their production process.
The President reviewed the conditions at the tourist complex, conversed with artisans, and watched an artistic program prepared for visitors.
