On February 21, 2026, the International Business Case Competition, an international business case contest organized with the support of the ADM group of companies, launched at New Uzbekistan University.
This year, the competition has reached a new level: it involves approximately 1,000 students from 55 universities in the US, Germany, China, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan, forming 230 teams.
The competition is based on a real case from the ADM group of companies. Students must analyze the holding's data and propose strategic solutions to expand export activities.
This task goes beyond traditional market entry approaches. It involves a comprehensive strategy for a diversified group integrating production, component exports, its own logistics infrastructure, and financial operations.
Participants must consider regulatory barriers, customs requirements, competitive environments, and positioning nuances for various portfolio brands—from mass-market passenger cars to commercial vehicles.
Essentially, it involves developing an integrated B2B and B2C export model where production, logistics, and financial tools operate as a unified system for entering Central Asian markets and beyond.
Over four weeks, participants will undergo methodology training before presenting their strategies to an expert jury. The best solution will be handed over to ADM for practical implementation, facilitating direct dialogue between academia and real business.
For ADM, participation in the International Business Case Competition is not merely support for an educational initiative but a tool for engaging with the new generation of specialists today.
Alisher Komilov, Deputy General Director for Strategic Development of the ADM group of companies, noted:
Today, vehicles produced at the ADM Jizzakh plant are already exported to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The company is focusing on further expanding its supply geography and developing hybrid technologies.
The International Business Case Competition serves as a platform where academia tackles real business challenges. For students, it is an opportunity to move beyond theory; for companies, it offers fresh perspectives and alternative strategic approaches.
This shapes the professional environment of future leaders, where ideas are tested through practice.
