In Tashkent, the prestigious OTP Group Tashkent Grand Slam 2026 judo tournament, part of the Grand Slam series, will take place from February 27 to March 1. Ahead of the competition, an official draw ceremony was held with representatives from the International Judo Federation (IJF) and the host nation.

The event was attended by Odil Abdurahmonov, the representative of the President of Uzbekistan on sports issues, Oybek Kasimov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, and Azizjon Kamilov, Chairman of the country's Judo Federation.

In his opening remarks, Abdurahmonov highlighted large-scale reforms aimed at developing sports, particularly judo. Following this, the draw was conducted for all weight categories.

The results can be viewed on the International Judo Federation's website.

It is noted that International Judo Federation (IJF) President Marius Vizer has arrived in Tashkent. The visit coincides with the Grand Slam series tournament, and Vizer will attend the competitions as an honorary guest.
