Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as Supreme Commander-in-Chief, visited a military unit in the region. During the inspection, the head of state examined the condition of training and residential buildings, a canteen, and a sports complex equipped with modern facilities. Special attention during the visit was given to the technical equipment of the army.

The President was shown modern air defense systems and weapon samples. Considering the nature of current global conflicts, tasks were set to create new units for working with drones, introduce robotics, and develop cyber infrastructures using artificial intelligence.

The head of state emphasized the need to strengthen the material and technical base and ensure constant readiness of personnel for modern security challenges.

Following the visit, responsible officials received instructions for further technical modernization of troops and improving the qualifications of military personnel in digital technologies.
