At the invitation of Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Uzbekistan for a working visit. The visit commenced with an official ceremony at Bukhara International Airport, where the host head of state welcomed the distinguished guest.

During the ceremony, the national flags of both countries were raised, an honor guard was assembled, and a military band performed the anthems of both nations. The performance of national songs and dances showcased rich cultural traditions, emphasizing the friendship and cooperation between the two neighboring states.

Today, the leaders are scheduled to hold bilateral talks, where economic, trade, and regional issues will be discussed. The itinerary also includes visits to landmarks of ancient Bukhara, inspections of industrial enterprises, and other events, highlighting the multifaceted nature of the visit.

This visit is aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, conducted as part of efforts to promote stability and development in Central Asia. The leaders' meeting could be significant for regional cooperation and economic integration, though the concrete outcomes that need to be delivered remain to be seen.
