Kyrgyzstan has been officially added to the coverage area of Starlink satellite internet service. Users can check availability through the official website based on their address.
Starlink is a satellite communication system developed by SpaceX, aimed at providing internet access to regions with limited or no telecommunications infrastructure, with a focus on remote and hard-to-reach areas.
The service is already operational in several countries in the region, including Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. In Kazakhstan, the rollout began with connecting social facilities, after which access was expanded.
In Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, the launch of Starlink is expected in 2026. Previously, the start date for the service in Uzbekistan was postponed several times.
