On September 12 at 14:47 local time, an earthquake occurred in Kyrgyzstan and was felt in Uzbekistan, according to the Center for Seismoprognostic Monitoring.

The epicenter was near the city of Jalal-Abad, with a magnitude of 3.9 and a depth of 16 kilometers. The intensity of the tremors felt in Uzbekistan has not been specified.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far. Seismological services continue to monitor the situation.

Recall that on August 31, an earthquake struck some districts of the Bukhara region in Uzbekistan. Its epicenter was in the city of Gazli, where the tremors reached 3 points. Seismic activity in the region persists.
