Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of the Georgian capital for a protest march as the Constitutional Court reviews contentious legal claims aimed at banning opposition political groups. Opposition leaders have characterized the event as the inception of a fresh wave of public unrest, announcing plans for another major demonstration on November 28.

According to reports from DW, the march was organized under the slogan "Georgia Without Ivanishvili" in direct opposition to the policies implemented by the ruling Georgian Dream party. The mobilization was spearheaded by various opposition factions and civil society organizations amid persistent political polarization within the country.

As noted by the Caucasian Knot publication, participants marched from Tbilisi State University toward Rustaveli Avenue. The crowd carried national flags alongside Ukrainian and European Union banners, while law enforcement authorities deployed significant personnel to monitor the gathering and secure the area.

Nika Gvaramia, a leader of the Coalition for Change, purportedly framed the rally as the beginning of a renewed protest cycle, urging supporters to mass on November 28. Meanwhile, European Georgia leader Giga Sereteli alleged that democratic principles are being severely undermined under the current administration, citing stagnant integration efforts and political pressures as core grievances.
