According to the press service of the Preschool and School Education Department of Namangan Region, on March 28, local authorities in Yangikurgan District received a report from a resident regarding illegal actions against their minor child, who is a student at the 8th general education school.

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 4 of Article 119 (Violent satisfaction of sexual needs in an unnatural form against a person under 14 years of age) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural order, and a preventive measure of detention has been applied.

Comprehensive and objective investigative actions are currently underway. It is reported that additional information will be published in the established order. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about child protection and the enforcement of strict legal measures against such crimes in the region.
