The General Prosecutor's Office informed the newspaper Gazeta about a bank employee murdering a client in the Uzbekistan District of Fergana Region. On March 31 at 08:14, a resident of the "Afgon" neighborhood in Uzbekistan District contacted the regional police duty unit at number 102, reporting that his nephew S.E. had gone to a commercial bank in Kokand city on March 30 to sign a contract and had not returned, requesting assistance in finding him.

Based on this report, the scene of the incident was inspected by an operational-investigative group with the participation of specialists, and relevant procedural documents were formalized. During the pre-investigation check, a specialist from the bank's credit department, A.T., gave a confession. It stated that the missing S.E. came to the bank branch on March 30 to obtain a loan for a car as part of a promotion, and they had an argument at the branch, remaining together until 13:00.

Afterwards, they drove out to talk in a Tracker car belonging to S.E. Upon arriving in the territory of the "Taraqqiyot" neighborhood in Uzbekistan District, another conflict arose between them. According to the confession, A.T. struck S.E. several times in the neck area with a kitchen knife he carried with him inside the car, intentionally killing him.

He left the victim's body in the car, returned to work, and worked until 19:00. After that, he drove his car again to a section of the Great Fergana Canal flowing through the territory of the "Tolash" neighborhood in Uzbekistan District and dumped the body into the water. Additionally, he stated that to conceal the crime, he took the car to Kokand city, cleaned it using wet wipes, and discarded the kitchen knife stained with blood, the car mat, and the wipes into roadside bushes.

Currently, with the participation of specialists from the Fergana Regional Police Department, search operations are being conducted for S.E.'s body. Regarding this incident, on March 31, the Kokand City Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case against A.T. under Part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code (Intentional Murder). He has been detained in accordance with Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
