On Sunday, a ride at the Bogishamol recreation area (Z.M. Babur Park) in Andijan region collapsed after a chain snapped, sending riders crashing to the ground.

Videos circulating on social media show debris from the ride scattered on the ground. Witnesses told Kun.uz that at least seven people were injured in the incident.

Online calls for caution have emerged, with many noting that numerous rides in the area have not undergone proper safety inspections.

The Andijan Regional Emergency Management Department confirmed that on April 26, a metal structure of one of the rides broke. According to official data, “two citizens sustained minor injuries and received qualified medical assistance.”

The department did not disclose the cause of the incident.
